I offer private, in-home consultations for caregivers so they can have a better understanding of what carriers will work for their lifestyle and environment. All consultations include
~ demonstration of requested carry/carries/carriers
~ learning and practice of carry with demo doll
~ learning and practice of carry with child
Consultations for 1 or 2 people are available and the length of a session is approximately 75 minutes where I can demonstrate 3 carriers and teach one carrier. If time permits, we can cover more – I would love for caregivers to learn more!
Workshops are also available for small and large groups, which include demonstrations of the main styles of carriers with an in-depth demonstration of one carrier. Please email me for more information.
Fit checks are available for those who are currently using a carrier and may only need a small adjustment. Fit checks can be done via messaging, 10-minute online session or a 10-minute drop in. Online sessions and drop-ins are by appointment only.
I also run the local babywearing meet up where you can interact with my teaching kit, watch a couple of demonstrations, and relax with other caregivers. Please join the York Region Babywearers Facebook group for more information.
Consultations start at $65/session. Workshops start at $20/person. Fit checks are free! Babywearing meet ups are also free. =)
